Wondering what the zoning code revision process may look like?  Come learn from the City of Middleton’s recent experience rewriting its zoning code to accommodate its emerging need for housing.

• Middleton city planner, Daphne Xu, will share lessons learned regarding the process – both successes and misses
• Learn about creative, collaboratively implemented solutions that further the overall goals of the rewrite
• Bring your own zoning rewrite process questions for clarification and/or advice.

Daphne Xu is the Associate Planner for the City of Middleton. She has helped write the 2021 Comprehensive Plan, develop the University Avenue Corridor Plan, and overhaul the zoning ordinance with the city. She staffs the city’s Workforce Housing Committee along with Plan Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Landmarks Commission. Daphne received her Masters of Planning from the University of Southern California, and her Bachelors in Global Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

The Cleary Center Parking Lot will be free for this event. Attendees can disregard signage about paying in this lot, as spots have been prepaid.
